The Elliott Museum
The Elliott Museum was founded by Harmon Elliott as a tribute to his father, Sterling, a prolific inventor. Today the museum is a celebration of innovation, and of how creativity and ingenuity have changed our lives, and made history. The museum holds one of the finest displays of vintage automobiles in the country, including Sterling’s quadricycle, whose steering design was the forerunner of the rack and pinion steering found in today’s cars and the Elliott family’s Stanley Steamer car. Visitors will find an eclectic collection with something for everyone, from the transportation gallery to life-size dioramas of turn-of-the-century shops and residences.
