Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens
The Zoo opened in the Springfield section of Jacksonville on May 12, 1914, with the donation of one red deer fawn. Several domestic animals were added later and a “monkey island” was established. On July 19, 1925, the Municipal Zoo, as it was then known, relocated to its present site bordering on the Trout River. On October 20, 1993, the Zoo name was officially changed from the Jacksonville Zoological Park to the Jacksonville Zoological Gardens. The zoos major exhibits include - Main Camp Safari Lodge – The Zoo’s admission facility boasts a 26,000 square foot thatched roof that was created by 24 Zulu craftsmen from South Africa. The Birds of the Rift Valley Aviary - Home to 72 birds of 20 different species, the Birds of the Rift Valley attempts to duplicate the conditions of the wilds of East Africa. Reptile House at Wild Florida - is home to more than 25 different species of reptiles, including the Eastern Indigo snake, one of several threatened species protected by the State of Florida. Range of the Jaguar is an award winning unique neotropical attraction featuring the magnificent big cats.

Budweiser Brewery Tour
Join Anheuser-Busch at the Jacksonville Brewery where you will have the opportunity to learn about their rich brewing heritage while discovering how the world’s greatest beers are carefully crafted during their complimentary tours. Each tour provides guests with the opportunity to visit the Brew House, Beechwood Aging Cellars and state-of-the-art packing facilities. Guests experience the making of Budweiser from all natural ingredients such as barley, malt, rice, hops, yeast and water to the full-bodied, crisp-tasting, refreshing brew loved across the globe. In the Hospitality Room, guests 21 years of age and over can sample their favorite brews including any new products. Last stop on the tour is the well stocked gift shop which offers a wide selection of the latest logoed merchandise.

The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens
The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, built on the site of the home of Arthur and Ninah Cummer, opened its doors November 10, 1961. From Ninah Cummer's relatively small collection of sixty pieces that launched the museum, The Cummer's permanent collection has grown to over six thousand works of art encompassing eight thousand years of art history. Particularly noteworthy additions are the Wark Collection of early Meissen porcelain, the Dennis C. Hayes Collection of Japanese woodblock prints, and the Eugène Louis Charvot Collection of nineteenth-century prints and paintings.
