    Coral Castle
Coral Castle

How did Edward Leedskalnin a man just over 5-feet tall and weighing no more than 100 pounds cut and move more than 1,100-tons of rock without any human assistance. His Coral Castle which is on the National Register of historic places is truly an amazing place to visit. Built as a tribute to the love of his life Agnes, his “Sweet Sixteen” who canceled their wedding just one day before the ceremony. Some of the blocks he used to build the castle are 4,000 feet thick; he carved and moved them with no outside assistance. When he was asked how he accomplished such a feet Ed would only reply that he understood the laws of weight and leverage well. He even built an AC Current generator! This all from a man with only a fourth grade education. People have suggested that the techniques used are similar to those used in the construction of Stonehenge and the Great Pyramids of Egypt. Did Ed know the secrets to one of the great wonders of the world?
