Marie Selby Botanical Gardens
The Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is perhaps best known for its collection of more than 6,000 living orchids. The 9.5-acre property is home to more than 20,000 plants many of which were collected from the wild by Selby Gardens research staff on more than 150 scientific expeditions to tropical rain forests. Seven greenhouses form the heart of the gardens botanical research and plant identification, something for which Selby Gardens is internationally recognized. Other featured exhibits include the Tropical Display House with its lush rain forest atmosphere, the towering Bamboo Pavilion, Banyan Grove, Cactus and Succulent Garden and Cycad Collection. With more than 180,000 visitors each year, the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is a must for anyone visiting the area.

G.WIZ, The Hands-On Science Museum
G.WIZ started life as The Gulfcoast Wonder & Imagination Zone which opened to the public in October 1991 with only 1,000 square feet and 10 hands on exhibits. It was reborn in May 1998 as G.WIZ, The Hands-On Science Museum a world-class science and technology center, located in a new 33,000 square foot facility in downtown Sarasota. The center now boasts 85 hands on exhibits that will amaze, entertain and educate the whole family in the wonders of science. Why not stop by and discover the fun of science.

The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art
The Ringling Museum of Art is recognized as the state art museum of Florida and includes 21 internationally recognized galleries. Known for its collections of Baroque paintings and the statues of Greek and Roman gods and goddesses that inhabit the Museum Courtyard, the museum displays over 400 objects of art within its galleries. Within the museum grounds visitors can also find the Ringling’s winter residence the Ca’ d’Zan, one of Americas great mansions that gives visitors a flavor of life during the “Roaring ‘20s”, and the countries first Circus Museum which displays rare handbills and posters along with photographs, performing props and elaborately-carved and painted circus wagons.
