Discovery Cove is located across from its sister park Sea World. Beautiful white sandy beaches are the perfect place to chill out in between visits to the various tropical habitats.

Admission is steep but does include swimming with dolphins and unlimited seven-day access to both Sea World or Busch Gardens. Dolphin Lagoon is the ultimate experience and the 30-minute Dolphin Swim with bottlenose dolphins is unforgettable. Discovery Cove has 35 bottlenose dolphins.

For a chance to swim with hundreds of tropical fish and navigate the grottos of a shipwreck, head over to Coral Reef. The experience is made all the more thrilling as you swim alongside sharks and barracuda, thankfully separated by a see-through partition.

Discovery Cove’s recently-expanded free-flight Aviary contains more than 250 tropical birds in a lush setting and gives visitors the opportunity to feed the birds by hand. The Aviary is part of the resort’s ongoing conservation efforts.

Another swimming experience takes place in the Ray Lagoon where you can reach out and touch the gentle giant rays up to 4ft in diameter as you swim and snorkel amongst them.

The Tropical River and Resort Pool offer plenty of relaxation opportunities as you float along or visit the waterfalls and underground caves.
